Maersk Air Cargo was founded in 1987 being 100% owned by A. P. Moller-Maersk, with the name of Star Air A/S. We have provided support to UPS on their intra-European parcel network for several decades. Our company is growing, being an integrated part of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Air Freight product, performing the “Own Controlled Flights” within Maersk. Future expansion plan includes operating 22 Boeing 767´s, a corporate Gulfstream G600 and the introduction of two brand new Boeing 777´s in 2024.

The Crew Training department serves the airline with approximately 8000 hours of training and checking activities on a yearly basis, with enhanced focus on precision and quality.
The training department consists of 55 members spread across Europe, with our headquarter based in Lyngby, DK. We consider teamwork and willingness to go the extra mile an invaluable asset in our daily work.
About the job
The main purpose of this position is to coordinate all matters related to planning, production, maintenance and record keeping, while ensuring that all flight & cabin Crew training complies with relevant legislation.
You will be the daily point-of-contact in the crew training department, and be working in close cooperation with the Director Crew Training and Chief Instructors, based at our HQ in Lyngby.
On a daily basis, you will be responsible for the execution and planning of instructor, facility, and simulator resources, in order to ensure the best possible utilization of both physical assets, as well as instructor capacity.
The training coordinator is part of the Training Administration Group (TAG), and will participate in weekly strategic planning meetings, weekly power meets, bi-monthly TAG meetings and annual Instructor Standardisation Workshops at our different bases in Europe.
If you would like to join a modern and proactive training department and ATO within Scandinavia´s biggest cargo airline, where no two days are the same, then this position is a match.
You will be working on a full-time flexed schedule primarily MON-FRI, with the option to perform some days as home-duty.
Job requirements
- Previous experience in the field of aviation-training considered an advantage;
- Excellent communication skills in English & Danish, (speech and writing);
- Positive and flexible attitude;
- MS Office proficiency and very strong IT skills;
- The ability to work in a team and on individual basis;
- The ability to be accurate, work responsible-minded and pay attention to details; and
- Experience working with RAIDO, Prodefis and Microsoft Power BI would be considered a strong advantage.
