About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Availability Manager to join our Technical team at CPH Airport. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous airworthiness, operational availability, and cost-effective maintenance of our fleet. You will act as a key interface between internal departments, contracted maintenance providers, and regulatory authorities, ensuring maintenance planning aligns with operational and commercial requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning & Aircraft Availability:
- Ensure all maintenance activities are planned and executed in accordance with the approved Aircraft Maintenance Programme.
- Develop and manage short-, mid-, and long-term maintenance forecasts.
- Liaise with Part 145 MROs to ensure planned maintenance is delivered on time and within scope.
- Work closely with Network and ACMI teams to integrate maintenance requirements into flying schedules.
- Monitor compliance with Airworthiness Directives, life-limited parts, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and administer the AMOS maintenance management system, including system development and upgrades.
Line Maintenance & Operational Support:
- Manage the day-to-day technical interface with contracted line maintenance providers.
- Monitor line maintenance checks, aircraft condition, and technical standards across all outstations.
- Act as a key operational driver during daily technical conference calls.
- Support and coordinate AOG events and recovery activities.
- Visit line stations to ensure procedural compliance and standards.
Stakeholder & Commercial Support:
- Assist Finance and Commercial teams with engineering input for ACMI tender costings.
- Advise on lease maintenance clearance periods for cost-effective maintenance control.
- Support budget preparation related to contracted line maintenance.
- Review and approve invoices from contracted maintenance providers in coordination with Finance.
- Provide KPI reporting and performance oversight of contracted MROs.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant engineering experience appropriate to the role or, 5 years of senior aircraft planning experience may be accepted.
- Strong knowledge of EASA regulatory requirements and continuing airworthiness management.
- Experience working with aircraft maintenance planning systems (AMOS preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and experience with aircraft management software.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Able to legally work in Denmark and Europe.
- Able to successfully complete an enhanced background check and obtain permission from police authorities to work in civil aviation.
