Job Description

You will join a dedicated team passionately delivering unparalleled helicopter services. You will be part of the management group within Bel Air and report to the COO. You are expected to manage your own – and your departments – priorities and engage with other departments independently.

You will take on significant responsibility and enjoy a dynamic and engaging role with the following key areas of responsibility:

  • Overall responsibility for the maintenance organization’s compliance with Part-145.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed correctly and documented.
  • Prioritize collaboration with sister departments especially part CAMO and Operations.
  • Lead and coordinate maintenance personnel and ensure appropriate training and competencies as well as ensuring motivation of the department is actively addressed.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and quality management systems.
  • Collaborate with authorities and suppliers (e.g., Civil Aviation Authority & Leonardo) and ensure approvals and audits.
  • Act as the point of contact for aviation authorities and ensure any deficiencies are correctly reported and handled.

You will ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with EASA Part-145 requirements, and that the organization maintains its approval and high standard of airworthiness and safety.

The position is based at Bel Air’s headquarters in Esbjerg.

What you bring

We are looking for a candidate with experience in aviation who meets the following requirements:

  • Relevant technical education (e.g., aircraft mechanic, engineer).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Thorough knowledge of EASA Part-145 and related legislation (e.g., EU 1321/2014).
  • Experience with quality management and compliance monitoring.
