(DK) CityJet seeks a Manager – Inventory & Components (CPH)

CityJet is recruiting a Manager – Inventory & Components (CPH). The position is employed by CityJet and seconded to Regional One, a commercial partner and minority shareholder in CityJet.

The role reports operationally to Regional One’s VP of Component Programs and is primarily responsible for overseeing all activities related to Regional One-owned inventory and components located in Copenhagen (CPH). The Manager acts as the main local interface, coordinating day-to-day activities between CityJet, Regional One and designated European stakeholders.

The position manages exchange, purchase and lease processes for parts and materials associated with the CPH inventory, provides status updates to sales and internal stakeholders and oversees logistics and consignment inventory consumption. The role also supports sales campaigns, manages repair programs, addresses inventory-related contractual matters and coordinates applicable billing activities in  Collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Specific Responsibilities
Core accountability – Asset & Inventory Ownership (CPH)

  • Act as the primary point of contact in Copenhagen on daily tasks and duties related to Regional One owned assets
  • Coordinate and organize component and asset inventory in CPH, developing warehouse procedures and best practices to service the EU market
  • Track all parts that are on-site or on-route to and from CPH
  • Manage the output of teardown activity and interface with MRO’s in conjunction with project management stakeholders
  • Maintain engine details in SharePoint

Commercial, orders and financial interfaces

  • Create all sales, exchange, or repair orders requested by stakeholders
  • Enter, review, and approve quotes received from shops for parts related to sales orders
  • Source piece parts in stock and on the market to try to reduce the costs
  • Assist AR/AP department with inquires for invoices
  • Create purchase orders for parts
  • Analyze parts and materials to determine business case outcomes
  • Development of business cases for engine conditions and values

Technical support and quality

  • Locate and provide technical information as time and cycles required by vendors to repair units
  • Check QC Hold list and contact vendors for corrective actions for documents and trace related issues and discrepancies with incoming units for repair
  • Ensure all subcontracted repair/maintenance work completed by certified agencies are performed in accordance with specified requirements and procedures

Logistics, AOG and stakeholder coordination

  • Support AOG events in conjunction with the applicable stakeholders
  • Assist receiving department with related issues and nonconforming parts, as needed
  • Assist logistics and shipping department with FedEx to resolve issues with packages sent or received (customs clearance, drop shipments, etc.)
  • Assist Engines team with transactions related to CityJet or CPH inventory
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors as required
