Join Our Team as a Materials & Logistics Manager

In this role, you’ll ensure our aircraft always have the parts, tools, and support they need—while guiding a team, leading staff effectively and building strong relationships with suppliers. What You’ll Be Doing
As our Materials & Logistics Manager, you’ll play a key role in making sure our supply chain supports safe and reliable fleet operations. From sourcing critical parts to managing logistics contracts, your decisions will directly impact the performance of our aircraft.
Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day:
- Leading the sourcing, purchasing, and repair of aircraft components, tooling, and consumables.
- Ensuring transport contracts (domestic and international) are in place to support both Line and Base Maintenance.
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, including negotiating contracts.
- Monitoring inventory levels to make sure the right parts are available at the right time.
- Overseeing the movement of parts and coordinating stock distribution across bases.
- Supervising stores and supply chain operations—making sure everything runs smoothly and in line with regulations.
- Reviewing supplier invoices and repair charges, keeping everything within budget.
- Tracking supplier performance and conducting regular contract reviews.
- Supporting staff development and ensuring all training requirements are met.
- Maintaining compliance with aviation regulations, IOSA standards, and company procedures.
- Leading and mentoring your team to ensure high performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who’s:
- Experienced in purchasing and inventory management (aviation background is a big plus).
- Knowledgeable about aviation regulations, import/export procedures, and Dangerous Goods restrictions.
- A confident communicator and skilled negotiator who can work calmly under pressure.
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Flexible with working hours and ready to adapt to operational needs.
- Holding a valid EU driving license and able to obtain airport security clearance.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Hands-on experience in aviation supply chain management.
- Familiarity with computerised inventory and purchasing systems.
- A background in managing teams in a busy, regulated environment.
