We are seeking an experienced and structured OCC Manager for our operational team. The position entails overall responsibility for the Operations Control Center (OCC) and requires strong leadership skills as well as in-depth knowledge of EASA regulations and aviation operations.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations, especially within flight operations, crew licensing, and working time limitations.
- Familiarity with principles of safety management and incident reporting, including industry best practices.
- Practical experience with operations control, crew control, and dispatch planning.
- Documented leadership/management education.
- Ability to work in a structured and methodical manner, preferably with experience in project management.
- Pilot or dispatcher education as well as leadership training.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience, of which at least 2 years must be in a managerial position within the aviation industry.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Handling tasks delegated from FOM/DFOM.
- Personnel management, including monitoring sick leave and handling violations of AGL’s policies.
- Ensuring safe and efficient operations as well as trained staff in all relevant positions.
- Informing FOM if operations are exposed to unacceptable risks (cf. MSM Risk acceptance authority).
