DAT is looking for a new Aviation Security Manager, based either in Copenhagen or Billund with regular remote work possible. The Security Manager position is for the Danish AOC. This is not a full-time position and can be combined with other duties. Part-time is expected to be 50%.
Responsibilities:
Ensure implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company Aviation Security Program in accordance with applicable regulations and company requirements;
• Monitor compliance with aviation security requirements and coordinate internal audits and inspections;
• Conduct security risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions;
• Coordinate aviation security incidents, investigations and follow-up actions;
• Cooperate with authorities, airports, handling agents, and other relevant stakeholders;
• Develop and maintain aviation security procedures and documentation;
• Organize and deliver AVSEC-related training and awareness activities where required;
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has proven experience in aviation security (AVSEC) within an airline, airport, aviation authority, or regulatory environment; knowledge of EU Regulation (EU) 2015/1998, EASA requirements, ICAO Annex 17, and Danish National Aviation Security Program although not a requirement;
- Exposure in developing, maintaining, implementing, or auditing aviation security programs, procedures, and risk assessments;
- Ability to coordinate security incident investigations and implement preventive measures;
- Higher education degree or equivalent qualification;
- Strong command of English (minimum B1 required; B2/C1 preferred) and Danish (B2/C1);
- Required knowledge and competencies in aviation security in accordance with applicable EU regulations;
