Description & Requirements
Job Purpose
To achieve all Sales and Service targets as assigned by the Manager.
Ancillary and Upselling of Flights, Rooms, Meal plans, Multi-centres, Excursions, Static Tours and Tailormade itineraries and Tours.
- Handle all delegated work by Team Leaders to do with any Sales, Service or Tailormade matters and ad hoc work which could include reports handling.
- Monitor & Handle all Salesforce Inboxes (Sales & Service) Correspondence within the required SLAs.
- Contribute towards your own personal development by keeping abreast of our Air & Non-Air Product offerings to ensure an up-to-date knowledge of the EKH Portfolio. This includes destination entry requirements, product updates and tours and excursions offered at the destination.
- Be able to effectively communicate with customers to leverage the brand values, generate repeat business and work to very high standards of customer service delivery to ensure all KPIs are achieved.
- Have an ability to form valuable relationships with our customers whilst leveraging our brand values to ensure repeat business and creation of a direct customer database.
- Have an ability to interact and effectively communicate with a host of third-party suppliers to complete a sale or service requirement for our customers.
- Have an ability to piece together an itinerary of twin or multi-centers and/or sell from ready-made product banks to ensure sales KPIs are achieved.
- Have the agility and business sense to deal with sudden disruptions such as Force Majeure or other types of crisis situations including but not limited to cancellation situations pre or post departure.
- Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced Sales and Service environment.
Qualification
- Minimum ‘A’ Level or equivalent
- A good sound knowledge of the travel industry and experience in a Tour Operating and/or Retail environment.
- Excellent knowledge of IATA Geography, widely travelled and good knowledge of Eastern Hemisphere destinations in IATA Areas 2 & 3.
- A commercial awareness and ability to drive conversion to hit sales targets.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with proven influencing skills.
- A solid understanding of the importance of customer experience and exceeding the customer’s expectations.
- A proactive team player with a strong initiative to achieve and an ability to provide feedback & recommendations for improved business performance.
- A working knowledge and understanding of the legal framework for the travel industry in Denmark and Sweden, including bodies such as Rejsegarantifonden (DTGF) as well as GDPR regulations.
- An understanding of tour operating trading T&Cs, including Airline policies and procedures for optimal customer service delivery.
- Excellent knowledge & understanding of GDS & CRS.
- Proficient in MS/365 Applications and IT literate.
- Flexibility to work longer hours during Peak Campaign periods.
- Ability to handle disruptions and provide emergency response actions.
Eligible Criteria
- Must be fluent in Danish and Swedish and have a good command of English
- Must have right to live and work in Denmark
- Must have travel industry experience
