Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting Directly to the Technical Services Manager, the Reliability Specialist shall
- Assist in the review and evaluation and implementation of Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, modifications and repairs issued by Type Certificate Holder, Original Equipment Manufacturer or Part 21 DOA.
- Liaison with Type Certificate Holder/ Component manufacturers and vendors to assist with preventative maintenance, reliability, defect diagnosis and modification programs.
- Provide technical support of review of incidents and events by Type Certificate Holder, Original Equipment Manufacturers, Cityjet Quality Department or Regulatory Authorities.
- Provide technical support of review of reports from the Maintenance Safety Management System
- Monitoring of data in support of Reliability Programme.
- Creation and distribution of Reliability Reports per CAME, Reliability Manual and Regulations
- Creation and distribution of safety data in support of Cityjet Safety Policy Standards and Procedures as contained within Cityjet Management System Manual
- Development and monitoring of Cityjet Reliability Programme
- Liaison with Regulatory Authorities, Type Cert Holder, Original Equipment Manufacturers in production of analysis of Reliability data pertaining to Cityjet fleet
- To undertake technical related projects as requested and covered within the realms of the Technical Services Department.
- Provide technical support for the Line Maintenance & Base Maintenance organisations in support of the CityJet operation.
- Assisting in the integration of aircraft into the CityJet fleet.
- Some travel will be required.
- Other duties as may be assigned by the Technical Services Manager
Qualifications / Skills / Competencies
- Have minimum 5 years previous experience in a continuing airworthiness environment.
- AMOS experience essential.
- Degree in Engineering / Aviation or Air Transport Management, or hold an EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence.
- Have practical or academic background in business techniques.
- Have strong computer skills in particular Microsoft excel, visual basic, excel macros an advantage
- Be fluent in written and oral English
- Have excellent communication skills , both verbal and written.
- Be comfortable with working as part of a team as well as working under own supervision
- Be familiar with Aviation and Aviation Technical terminology
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
